Chrome DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization on Solana that runs weekly generative 3D Chrome NFT auctions. Auction proceeds fund the DAO treasury, builder rewards, and creative initiatives across art, music, sports, and beyond.
Chromes are unique generative 3D NFT collectibles minted on Solana. Each Chrome has distinct attributes and metadata stored on Arweave. One new Chrome is auctioned every week through the Chrome DAO protocol.
Every week, Chrome DAO mints a new Chrome NFT and opens a timed auction on Solana mainnet. Bidders connect a Solana wallet and place bids in SOL. When the auction ends, the highest bidder wins the NFT. Unsold Chromes may be burned and rent recovered to the treasury.
Visit the homepage or the active Chrome page, connect a Solana wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.), and submit a bid higher than the current bid. Bids are on-chain SOL transfers handled through the Chrome DAO auction contract.
When an auction settles, proceeds are split: 50% to the DAO treasury, 40% to builders, and 10% to system operations. Treasury funds support Chrome DAO initiatives and long-term protocol growth.
Chrome DAO launched with a genesis supply cap. The current maximum supply decreases when Chromes are burned (for example, when an auction receives no bids). View live supply and burn stats on the DAO page.
You need a Solana wallet compatible with Solana mainnet, such as Phantom or Solflare. Connect your wallet on chromedao.xyz to bid. You also need enough SOL to cover your bid plus network transaction fees.
